Goals and objectives of production logistics

Production logistics – the process of managing material and information flows from the warehouse and material resources to the finished goods warehouse.
The purpose of production logistics is to reduce costs, the synchronization of the production and logistics operations in the production processes.
The main functions of production logistics are:
1) planning of production processes with the organization of their continuity and synchronization;
2) optimization of the production process: cost reduction and production cycle, minimizing material waste, improve product quality and production labor, etc .;
3) coordination of production cycles with supply and marketing services;
4) establishment of standards and monitoring compliance with them;
5) the operational management of production processes:
A) continuous recording and analysis for the implementation of the timetable of production;
B) rapid response to a deviation from the plan, and interruptions in the production and supply;
