From August 12 to the end of September, Poland is changing the rules of work and rest for drivers

With the beginning of a full-scale war, the whole world began to actively introduce sanctions against Russia and Belarus, one of the consequences of which is some delays in the supply of products to Europe. Therefore, in order to avoid difficulties, the Polish government recognized the need to reduce the restrictions on rest and work rules for drivers (not including bus drivers).

The main reliefs were:1. the maximum time for work during the day was increased by 2 hours, making a total of 11 hours.2. the maximum time for work during the week was increased by 4 hours, making a total of 60 hours.3. the maximum time for work during 2 weeks was increased by 6 hours, making a total of 96 hours.3. changed the maximum time after which drivers should rest for 1 hour, which makes a total of 5 hours 30 minutes.

It is important to note that forcing drivers to work more will not be forced by the employer, since it is he who is responsible for his employee in case of fatigue.
