The draft law aims not only to attract foreign investment, but also aims to make life easier Ukrainian shipowners. The explanatory note to the document states its intention to remove the rate of 131 articles KTMU, thus avoiding bureaucratic delays at bringing transport under foreign flag to the waterways of Ukraine.
The developers of the bill hope that it will help solve many problems. In their view, the state support for the development of shipping will increase the tonnage of the fleet under the national flag, to attract investment in the logistics industry and contributes to the overall improvement of the investment climate in Ukraine.
