Ukraine submits a strong reaction: Introduction of sanctions against Russia for 50 years in all spheres of transport

The government of Ukraine took a decisive step, turning to the National Security and Defense Council with a historic request to introduce an impressive package of sanctions against Russia, designed for the next 50 years. This decisive initiative has the strategic task of preventing any vehicles from the Russian Federation from entering the territory of Ukraine for the next half century.
Initially, it concerns railway rolling stock, experts note, but is not limited to it. According to the proposal, there is also a complete blockade of the entry of motor vehicles from Russia into Ukraine, including buses and trucks of any type. In addition, the Council of Ministers calls for a ban on air travel and the use of Ukrainian airspace for all flights of Russian companies for 50 years, regardless of the end of the war with the Russian Federation.
The government did not ignore even sea and river transport, proposing to ban Russian civilian vessels from entering Ukrainian territorial waters. This initiative applies not only to vessels flying the flag of the Russian Federation, but also to all other vessels owned or chartered by Russian companies. In addition, it is proposed not to recognize seamen’s documents issued in Russia. This decisive step of the Government of Ukraine shows its unwavering determination to protect national interests and ensure the country’s security from the negative influence of Russia.
