Transportation of transformer substations

In January of 2018 Zaporozhye branch of Neolit Logistics company provided a cargo delivery service – 3 complete transformer substations KTPBM 1600-35 / 0.4 U1, for the enterprise in the city of Zaporozhye.

Parameters of 1 substation: length – 4.06 m, width – 2.80 m, height – 3.30 m, weight – 6 tons.

For transportation of 3 substations one telescopic low-frame platform was needed.

In order for the oversized cargo to be delivered on time and without risks, the traffic route was previously developed in detail taking into account the quality of the roads, their congestion at the time of transport, the presence or absence of bridges and tunnels.

The main difficulty in organizing the transportation process is the fragility of the cargo, difficult weather conditions, a distance of more than 1400 km.

Thanks to the well-coordinated work of all the participants in the process, this project was implemented successfully and on time.
