Transportation of plant for Dyckerhoff Ukraine

In August 2017 Kiev branch of GC Neolit Logistics won a tender announced by Dyckerhoff Ukraine for the transportation of the equipment of the cement plant Elba 130 from the village of Sukhoy Liman of the Ovidiopol district of the Odessa region to Kiev.
Elbe, four silos and a number of smaller positions were to be transported directly. According to the declared volume of cargo for logistic operations, two cranes with a carrying capacity of 50t and 17 cars were used, including: 10 trawls and 7 standard machines.
Dimensions of the Elbe and silos were 19.5m x 3.2m x 3m and 18.5m x 3.7m x 3.4m respectively. For their transportation permits were issued, and the transportation itself was carried out with the police.

The task of exporting equipment was complicated by several factors:

The lack of equipped entrances to the site on which the equipment was stored, as well as access to various equipment positions. In this connection, prompt changes were made in the order of the rolling stock supply, avoiding the downtime of equipment involved in loading and transportation.

The contracted deadlines are only one week. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the trucking department of the SC Neolit Logistics the terms were met. Both cranes in with. Dry Liman and in Kiev worked 4 shifts, and a day produced 3-5 cars.

Difficult weather conditions. The last day of work in the Odessa region was marked by a heavy pouring rain. Under the threat of disruption of loading there were four cars and a crane operation. However, it was decided not to stop loading and on the same day all four cars were sent to the flight.

Thanks to the teamwork and professionalism of the employees of the GC Neolit Logistics the project for the export of the plant was completed on time and at a high quality level.
