The classification of refrigerators

Cold storage is a name derived from the Latin refrigerated – refrigerated, refrigera – cool.

Refrigerators by types of transport are divided into:

Car refrigerated (refrigerated) – vehicles, trailers and semitrailers, isothermal (insulated) vans.

Refrigerated wagon – special-purpose, indoor rail car for transportation of perishable goods.

Reefer – a specially-equipped with refrigeration units, a cargo ship.

Refrigerated containers (refrigerated) – a special container, equipped with refrigeration units on the vehicle, warehouse, cargo ship.

According to sanitary regulations perishable goods to be transported in a closed body, strictly maintaining a certain temperature necessary for a particular type of product, be regularly sanitized. By specialized vehicles with a body of the van are:

Isothermal CO – vehicle on chassis (car, trailer, semi-trailer) body which is made of insulating material, which limits the heat transfer between the outer and inner surfaces of the van. Normally insulated PBX does not exceed the heat transfer coefficient of 0.7 W (m2 * ° C) and increased CO ratio is less than 0.4 W (m2 * ° C).

Glacier CO -, instead of mechanical or absorption cold source for cooling and maintaining a predetermined constant temperature is used natural ice, with or no salt and dry ice and liquefied gases.

Refrigerated PBX – used for cooling and temperature control inside the van individual, refrigeration unit, which allows to lower and maintain the temperature.

Heated exchanges – is equipped with the heating system, which allows you to raise the temperature inside the van keeping it without additional heat available. It is used for transportation of liquid and bulk cargo (milk, wine, beer, flour itd)

Refrigerators sectional – two-chamber (Bunk) refrigerators that can simultaneously support the plus and minus temperature. Equipped with multi-temperature refrigeration units that automatically adjust the set temperature.

Refrigerated tushevoz – a special refrigerator for hanging meat transportation on hooks.

Cold storage for transportation of flowers – are equipped with rods grouse (in German the “second floor”).
