The CMU adopted several important decisions aimed at the development of border infrastructure with neighboring countries, namely with Hungary and Poland. The government has defined a new agreement with Hungary, which provides for the creation of the “Velika Palady – Nadios” crossing point, intended for passenger transport.
This agreement also refers to increasing the possibility of the checkpoint “Luzhanka – Beregshuran”. From now on, it will be available for freight as well as empty vans, which will help improve transport logistics between countries.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated another 222 million hryvnias for the development of border infrastructure with the Republic of Poland. These funds will be used to improve checkpoints, including the purchase of modern mobile scanners, which will improve the efficiency and speed of service at the border.
The aforementioned measures are aimed at improving the conditions for crossing the border, which will contribute to strengthening economic and social ties with Hungary and Poland, as well as increasing the level of security at the border.
