Road Works in Action: Upgrading Routes M-07 and T-26-01

Currently, important repair works are being carried out on roads M-07 Kyiv – Kovel – Yagodin and T-26-01 Chernivtsi – Vashkivtsi – Putila – checkpoint “Ruska” with the entrance to checkpoint “Shepit”. This information was released to us by the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

A comprehensive reconstruction was carried out on the M-07 highway, eliminating potholes and other damage to the road surface. In total, 31,500 square meters of road surface were repaired. In addition, road markings were restored on almost the entire length of the “Varshavka” highway in the Volyn region. Currently, work crews take care of the proper technical condition of road traffic and give it a sanitary and aesthetic appearance. They replace old or damaged road signs and signal poles, maintain their visibility and clean up litter at bus stops and roadsides.

Regarding the T-26-01 road, its repair is carried out within the framework of the project “Improvement of transport infrastructure in the cross-border region Chernivtsi – Suceava (Shepit – Izvarele Suchovei)” within the framework of the Joint Operational Program Romania – Ukraine 2014-2020. At the last stage of work, two bridges on this road, which has a total length of 2 kilometers, have already been restored.
