Renewal of borders between the Czech Republic and Slovakia

According to the Czech and Slovak authorities, illegal border crossings between these two countries have recently been increasing, so to eliminate the problem, it was decided to renew customs control at 27 checkpoints (including road, rail and river) from September 29 to October 8. Where it is mandatory to cross between countries precisely at these points. But there is a high probability that the government may extend the period of use of checkpoints for an indefinite period, in case the situation is not changed. These rules do not apply to employees working on the border. The main problem that caused such changes is illegal migration, which forces the authorities of the two countries to make drastic changes, despite the fact that this may affect their economic condition related to general logistical processes.
