Good news for truckers: Ukraine and Norway extend permit-free cargo transport until 2027

If you’re in the freight business, here’s something to breathe easier about — Ukraine and Norway have agreed to keep the permit-free cargo transport deal in place until March 2027.

In plain terms, this means Ukrainian trucks can continue delivering goods to Norway without needing any special transport permits. It’s a big relief for logistics companies already stretched thin by war-related complications, rising costs, and changing routes.

“Stability like this is rare these days. It helps us plan, deliver on time, and stay competitive,” says a team member at Neolit Logistics, a company that regularly handles routes to Norway.

Why this matters:

  • No permits = less paperwork and more time on the road;
  • Deliveries move faster;
  • Lower transport costs;
  • Builds trust with European clients.

This deal builds on earlier agreements signed in 2022, and its extension shows Ukraine is still seen as a reliable logistics partner in Europe. When things work — keep them rolling.
