Final tariffs for Toll Collect road tolls

Toll Collect plans to introduce updated prices from 1 December 2023, which will be based on the government’s “Third Review of Tolling Regulations”. These tariffs will affect the cost of road travel. Two key dates for the implementation of the changes are planned: 12.2023 and 07.2024. From December 1, 2023, the increase in fares will apply to vehicles with a gross weight of more than 7.5 tons. Starting from July 1, 2024, this cost will also apply to vehicles with a gross weight of more than 3.5 tons. One of the key innovations is the inclusion of taxation of CO2 emissions into the air, which will lead to a significant increase in the cost of travel, from 40% to 83%. These changes will affect hauliers who have cars with CO2 emission class 1. In addition, the system for determining the gross weight of vehicles will also undergo changes. Now, the technically permissible gross weight will be included for the calculation of toll prices, and not the value found in the vehicle registration.
