Additional WIM complexes in Ukraine

According to Ukrtransbezpeka, two more WIM complexes started working at the end of last week. We will remind you that WIM is the weighing of cars while moving, which fixes traffic overload at three points and makes it completely impossible to bypass it, since it is located across the entire width of the road. At the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, there were about 45 such complexes (14 of which are now in the occupied territories, 3 are damaged). But since the overloading of transport is an important component of European standards and safety against possible road accidents (which affects the braking distance), their creation is very important for Ukraine to prevent corruption. Additional WIM complexes are installed on:

– highway H-10, km 248+700 in Chernivtsi region (WIM 57);

– highway M-30, km 862+217 in the Dnipropetrovsk region (WIM 58).

Overloading transport carries fines that can reach UAH 51,000.
