Every oversize load transport project requires individual preparation, as the cargo dimensions and weight, route limitations, and loading method all need to be considered. AtNeolit, we arrange oversized cargo transportation across Ukraine and on international routes. We transport industrial equipment, special-purpose machinery, large structures, and other non-standard cargo.
For each shipment, we select suitable specialized transport, plan the route, and help obtain the required permits. We also coordinate loading, cargo securing, and escort services when needed.
Out of Gauge Cargo — What It Includes
Out of gauge cargo includes items whose dimensions, weight, or configuration cause the loaded vehicle to exceed established limits for length, width, or height. Such shipments require specialized vehicles and a separately planned route.

Before any oversized load transport, we first learn everything about the cargo, from its size and weight to its shape and any specifics that could affect the move.

Lowbed Trailers and Low-Profile Platforms
A lowbed trailer is a low-profile platform pulled by a tractor unit. Its reduced platform height helps keep the overall height of the loaded vehicle lower, while the open sides make it easier to accommodate wide or long machinery. We pick the trailer based on how heavy and large the cargo is and how it will be loaded. Lowbed transport is our go-to for special machinery, industrial equipment, and oversized structures.
Permits, Cargo Securing, and Escort for Oversized Transport
If the loaded vehicle exceeds the established limits, the required permits and approvals must be obtained before departure. The exact documents depend on the route, the dimensions and weight of the vehicle combination, and the requirements of the transit countries. When necessary, we help prepare permits, certificates, and customs clearance documents.
Loading and Cargo Securing
The loading method is determined by the design of the cargo and the conditions at the site. Self-propelled machinery can be driven onto the platform using ramps. For equipment and structures, we use a crane or other suitable machinery.
Before departure, it is necessary to:
prepare the site and platform for the work;
position the cargo on the platform;
secure it with suitable fastening elements;
inspect the securing system before departure.
We select the securing method according to the shape, weight, and support points of the cargo. It must prevent the load from shifting during transport.

Yes. Oversized cargo transport services can include loading and unloading. The work method is agreed after assessing the cargo and both sites.
Can oversized cargo be insured during transportation?
Yes. Neolit offers cargo insurance for the duration of transportation. The coverage terms and list of insured risks are agreed separately.
What if the exact dimensions or weight of the cargo are not yet known?
First, provide the manager with all available information about the cargo. In this case, the initial planning for oversized cargo transportation will only be approximate. Exact dimensions and weight will be required to select the appropriate transport and calculate the final cost.
Is oversized cargo tracking available during delivery?
Yes. The movement of the loaded vehicle can be tracked during transportation. The monitoring format and access details are confirmed when the order is arranged.
Can international oversized cargo transport be arranged with multiple loading or delivery points?
The feasibility of such a route must be agreed with the manager. For this, provide the addresses, sequence of stops, and cargo specifications at each point. The specialist checks the route and selects suitable transport. Accurate initial information helps coordinate the technical and organizational details of the delivery in advance.
