Documentary support of international transportation

It’s no secret that one of the keys to a successful implementation of transport is a well-designed documents. GK Neolit Logistics transports goods in international traffic, involving different types of rolling stock. Therefore justified today will be the consideration of the documentary support of international traffic.

A confirmation of the contract for international road transport is the international waybill (CMR). Prerequisite possibility of using CMR is the ratification of the Convention CMR (CMR Convention) in at least one country, between which the goods at the moment. CMR is a certain similarity Waybill, only meant for international traffic. This document contains the date of loading of the vehicle, the name and type of cargo, the data of the enterprise, the service, and the company receiving the goods, as well as the time of delivery. As Waybill within the country, CMR is made in 3 copies: one copy shall be retained by the consignor, the second – is intended for the carrier and the third is sent to the consignee.
For delivery of goods from Europe beyond the declaration is made out forms EX-1, which avoids the payment of local intra-added tax. EX-1 is closed on the border with the EU, while its design is responsible directly by the carrier or manufacturer of the goods.
Mirror image EX-1 is T1. This declaration is made out by the carrier or provider to accompany shipments of non-European origin in the European country of destination.
System Carnet TIR (Transports International Routiers) is designed to simplify the transmission and harmonization of customs formalities for the carriage of goods in transit, and greatly simplifies the passage of state borders. Convention relating to the carriage of goods under the system Carnet TIR, took more than fifty countries. This system involves two main nuances:
1) excludes any access cargo during transport (by filling or transportation of goods in special containers);
2) The load is necessarily accompanied by the TIR Carnet (TIR – international road perevlzki).
Carnet specifically authorized to do so (for example, in Ukraine is AsMAP – International Road Carriers Association) and has 4 to 14 sheets, each of which, starting from the second, off for the passage of the following customs.
In the implementation of the marine transfer of goods bill of lading is issued. As well as CMR in road transport, the bill of lading is the basic document of title and at the same time the bill of lading.
Receiving from the company’s carrier bill of lading, the owner of the goods or simply the sender, thus witness the transfer of cargo for transportation. Bill of lading issued by the already familiar pattern in 3 copies, the only nuance is that on copies of the carrier and the sender will be sealed “Copy.” The original bill of lading is transmitted by the carrier to the consignee. Thus acknowledging receipt of the goods.
The main document in the implementation of air transport is air waybill or Airwaybill. Air Waybill has two main functions: confirms the contract for the carriage of goods and can be a substitute for the cargo customs declaration. This document is issued in 3 copies: the carrier, shipper and the consignee respectively. Responsible for the design according to the invoice is Airwaybill consignor or his agent. In AWB prescribed points of departure and destination of the cargo, a list of documents attached to the invoice value of the goods, the cost of the transportation and the date and time of registration. Unique number Airwaybill possible to determine the load position at the moment.
In international traffic carried by rail traffic, used SMGS consignment (SMGS – Agreement on international railway cargo). At the moment, members of the SMGS are 23 countries, including Ukraine. SMGS consignment note is also the main document of transportation; document confirming the conclusion of the contract of carriage; as well as a receipt acknowledging receipt of goods by rail for transportation.
SMGS consignment consists of five pages, each of which has its own purpose. For example, the 1st and 5th issued to the consignee upon arrival of cargo, 2nd and 4th accompany the cargo throughout the route, the third remains with the shipper.
In the states, not officially confirmed by the SMGS, international railway transportation are determined by agreement COTIF, which provides its shape note. Transportation between the EU and the CIS and in the opposite direction, as a rule, are reissuance relevant invoices border railway stations.
