Located in Northern Europe, Norway is one of the most highly developed countries in the European Union. On three sides, the country is surrounded by the North and Barents seas. Norway shares land borders with Sweden, Finland and the Russian Federation.
Cargo transportation Norway-Ukraine, depending on the type and volume of cargo, can be performed by various types of transport. Considering that road transport is most effective on a short transport leg up to 300 km long, the choice is often made in favor of sea transport.
Due to its sparse and long coastline, Norway has many ports and a very well developed transshipment. In most cases, delivery of goods from Ukraine to the kingdom is carried out by sea.
The capital Oslo is at the same time the largest port in the country with a cargo turnover of more than 5 million tons per year. At the same time, depending on the type of cargo and the transshipment price, the Client’s cargo can be sent to another port specializing in the work with timber products Trondheim or the Bergen oil port. Also, the goods can be delivered to one of the country’s 8 international airports, the largest of which is also located in Oslo.
However, in addition to multimodal transportation, today it is possible to carry out intermodal movement by two modes of transport in a non-transshipment way.
Neolith Logistics has the ability to form a route in such a way that the cargo from Norway to Ukraine or in the opposite direction is delivered by road along the shortest route.
For this we use the developed ferry service between Germany and Poland with the Scandinavian countries. Cargo transportation to Norway, Oslo can be carried out both directly and through neighboring Sweden, where many ferries come from the Baltic States, Poland, and Germany.

Thanks to a well-developed road network with a total length of about 93 thousand kilometers, the movement of goods within Norway itself usually does not cause any particular difficulties. Due to the large number of islands, the railway network is not very large, just over 4 thousand kilometers, and trains usually carry out internal cargo transportation.
