Transportation Saiga

Neolit Logistics organizes transport of types of goods: equipment, raw materials, metals, food, etc. But sometimes we receive non-standard requests that are surprising genuine surprise, but at the same time to every request we take very seriously, and appropriate level of responsibility and professionalism!
This was the case at this time.

Kharkov branch of the group of companies “Neolit Logistics” received a request for the organization of transport by road – Saiga !!!
Yes, you read that right – the saiga!

For reference:
Saiga, Saiga, or (Latin Saiga tatarica; male – saiga or margach, female – Saiga.) – Cloven-hoofed mammal of the subfamily of these antelopes (although due to its peculiar anatomy sometimes with Tibetan antelope subfamily referred to as special).

In 2002, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), this species was ascribed to “the CR” category, that is, “who is in critical condition.” Originally inhabited by a large area in the steppes and semi-deserts of Eurasia from the foot of the Carpathian Mountains and the Caucasus to Dzungaria and Mongolia. Now antelopes are found only in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, with overhangs, in Russia (Kalmykia, the Astrakhan Region, the Altai Republic) and Western Mongolia.

Relatively small cloven-hoofed animals, body length of 110-146 cm, tail 8 – 12 cm, height at withers 60 – 79 cm Weight 23 -. 40 kg. Elongated body with thin, relatively short legs. The nose is a soft, bloated, movable proboscis with round nostrils close together creates the effect of “humped muzzle.” Ears with rounded apex. Average hoof larger side. Horns are only in males. They are approximately equal in length and the length of the head reaches an average of 30 cm, translucent, yellowish-white, liroobraznoy irregular shape, the bottom two-thirds of transverse annular beads are arranged almost vertically on the head.

The summer fur is yellowish-red, darker on the midline of the back and gradually lightening to the belly, without tail “mirror”, low and relatively rare. The winter fur is much higher and thicker, very light, clay-gray. Molt twice a year: in spring and autumn.

And so, it was necessary:
– To organize the transport of saiga route: Askania Nova preserve in the Kherson region – Alder Beam – reserve in the Kharkiv region. The task was completed on time, in compliance with all requirements of the customer. The uniqueness and complexity at the same time the carriage was the fact that 90% of the animals die during transport as a consequence of stress, but in our case, all the “girls” and “boys” have arrived safe and sound!
