Transportation of oversized cargo, escort organization

Zaporozhye branch of the group of companies “Neolit Logisticsh” organized transportation of oversized cargo house-office on the route Zaporozhye – Kropivnitsky.

Cargo parameters:

•     length 12 m
•     width 4,30 m
•     height of 2.7 m.

When transporting goods with a width of more than 3.5 m, it is necessary to organize escorting of oversized cargo. These are the so-called cover cars that accompany the cargo all the way. Such escort can also be carried out by patrol cars, while the type of escort is determined when issuing a permit for transportation of oversized cargo.

In this case, to ensure the safety of transportation, two police cars were escorted.
The transportation was carried out for 2 days, because Passage of large-sized and heavy vehicles is possible during the period of the least traffic intensity. In the permit, the speed limits were specified for certain sections depending on road conditions. Small settlements passed in the afternoon, whenever possible they tried to go round or moved on the outskirts, according to the compiled and approved route. There were no big cities on our way, otherwise we would have to pass them at night.
