A bill has appeared that will unblock transit traffic through Belarus

Ukrainian road carriers operating in the Baltic and Scandinavian directions are experiencing great difficulties in their work due to the lack of the required number of permits from Poland and Belarus.The new bill will unblock international road transportation from Ukraine to the Scandinavian and Baltic states, in particular to Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Finland.The changes will also apply to:- liberalization of the conditions for the implementation of freight traffic between Ukraine and Belarus;- unblocking the work of Ukrainian road carriers in the Baltic and Scandinavian directions;- exemption of irregular passenger road transport from the licensing system.Carriers will be able to freely use the Belarusian territory for transit, and Ukraine will save jobs for our carriers and attract additional cargo and passenger traffic in the Baltic and Scandinavian directions.
