Opening of a new checkpoint on the A4 highway in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship: an important step towards strengthening control and security

In the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, not far from Wroclaw, a new checkpoint was opened on the A4 highway. This is an important event for the transport and logistics industry, made possible by the cooperation of the General Road Transport Inspectorate (GITD) and the Chamber of Tax Administration (KAS). The new checkpoint will significantly increase the efficiency of cargo transportation control, minimizing the impact on traffic flows.

The opening of the checkpoint was attended by such important persons as the governor of the Lower Silesia region Maciej Avizen, the chief inspector of road transport Artur Chapewski and the director of the Chamber of Tax Administration in Wroclaw Yulita Grzebyk. The new checkpoint is located on the site of the former toll collection infrastructure, which allowed for efficient use of available resources.

The transport inspection and the tax administration are now able to use modern equipment for optical recognition of license plates and a system of typing checks, which will allow for quick and efficient control of transport. The cooperation between ITD and KAS will be an important step not only in the control of transport, but also in the fight against financial irregularities and unfair competition.

This innovation will positively affect road safety and economic stability in the region, contributing to the improvement of the quality of services in the field of transport and logistics.

The main advantages of the new gearbox:

  • Increasing the efficiency of traffic flow control
  • Use of modern equipment for automatic inspection of transport
  • Strengthening the fight against financial crimes and illegal business
  • Improvement of interaction between inspection and tax services

The launch of new initiatives such as this checkpoint is an important step towards safe and competitive logistics in the region.
