The transport industry needs more funding to recover from the war – MIU

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, like other sectors of the country’s economy, suffered quite a lot from the consequences of the war, which has been going on for many years. The transport industry, which is an important component of the economy, has suffered considerable damage from the actions of the armed conflict.

According to the Ministry, the war caused a significant decrease in the volume of traffic in Ukraine, which led to a decrease in the profits of transport companies. Also, part of the transport infrastructure was destroyed or damaged, which made it difficult for the transport industry as a whole.

In this regard, MIU declares the need for a significant increase in funding to restore transport infrastructure and support the work of transport enterprises. According to representatives of the Ministry, this will ensure the necessary level of functioning of the transport industry, reduce losses and speed up the process of restoring the transport infrastructure.

Now the state is actively working to find additional resources to restore the transport industry and ensure the smooth functioning of transport enterprises. Despite the difficulties, Ukraine strives to restore its transport infrastructure and return to the map of world transport leaders.
